At a cost of $100 million, to protect Australians from porn. I think:

a) They have underestimated how many folk actually want to be able to access porn...

b) There is a strong likelihood that the filters won't work as well as expected - families who rely on them could be disappointed...

Basically, the TV stations do not want us to have electronic program guides. They'd be happiest if we just watched TV without knowing what will be on, and that's almost true these days the level of chopping & changing they do. Anyone who comes up with a 3rd party guide, they intend to sue...
