Just got back from Trivia Night at the George Public Bar, hosted by Michael Carman, star of the Day of the Panther
It was a cold night, and combined with the topic ("The Simpsons"), the turn out was good
I got 22/30, the winners 29.5/30, and as a solo punter who loves the Simpsons, but has alcohol-induced memory impairment, I am not too saddened. Well, 22 is an exaggeration, because the team who marked my answers (the winners...), included a beautiful young woman who possibly caused my score to be inflated by 3 or so.
