To prove that Bluetooth lacks the levels of security claimed, some clever lads have invented the BlueSniper rifle, that "can scan and attack Bluetooth devices from more than a mile away". More at TomsNetworking

A self-replicating robot now exists!
They are only simple, and it is all they can do... but for the first time scientists have create robots that can create more robots just like themselves (providing they have the raw parts to assemble...)
