prickly pear cactus :: hangover cure
According to New Scientist, an extract of prickly pear cactus can reduce hangovers. The test subjects had a rough time of it:
Taking the extract 5 hours prior, these brave volunteers experienced a 20% reduction in the severity of the hangover.
20% is not enough. I want 50% at least. Next!
The subjects were given a fast-food dinner and then allowed to choose their tipple for the evening from vodka, gin or rum, which are relatively low in impurities, or bourbon, scotch or tequila, which are relatively high.

Weemote!
