"Give" - Charity Magazine (a free* idea)

As the rich get richer, and the middle class get richer (and the poor get poorer...), philantropy and simple donations are going to increase. I'm finding it hard to choose where to give my money, if & when that is what I want to do. There are hundreds of charity magazines out there, but they are all in-house, devoted to their own missions. I feel there is a place for a magazine about giving, that can inspire me and help me decide where to give:

• people who give would surely like to read stories similar to their own
• finding content it not a problem - thousands of great deeds are done every day
• they are stories that deserve a wider audience
• it can be run as a charitable organization
• corporate sponsorship should be easy to find
• it could also operate as a watchdog - informing us of dodgy charities, and those with ridiculous overheads
• it could copy the format of Utne Reader and just reprint articles found elsewhere

POSTNOTE: According to ACA, charity magazine publishing is now valued at more than £50m - although all the mags are focussed on a singular cause. Good Magazine is a start...
