My Sub-Conscious Is Singing While I Sleep
Yesterday I went to put Lloyd Cole on the stereo (well, PC), but got distracted and didn't. When I awoke this morning I had a Lloyd Cole song in my head, and couldn't get rid of it.
I'm guessing that even though I'd forgotten about the idea of listening to him, my subconscious did not, and indeed it was singing along to his songs all night while I slept - rather than attending to more important duties.
I'm thinking that in general a person's subconscious has a personality of its own. It is the same personality of our raw conscious state, except we adjust our conscious personality so that we fit in better with the world (ie I do some work each day, but deep-down I'd rather just listen to music).
So, seems that my subconscious is a lazy sod prone to goofing off and avoiding work...
